How do we clean rugs?
Once booked, we will send our fully qualified fabric cleaning specialist to undertake the cleaning.
Upon arrival, the technician inspects the fabric of the rug and, if needed, conduct a fibre identification test. They may also measure the pH of the rug’s fabric to decide which chemicals will be best for the cleaning.
The technician will also inspect the fabric for damage, scuffs, marks, particular stains, and colour fastness (also known as colour bleeding).
Depending on the condition and type of fibres present in your rug, the technician will have four options:
- dry cleaning,
- foam cleaning,
- cold water extraction cleaning and
- deep steam/water extraction cleaning.
